New year, new you?

This actually started in 2019, I just never started the blog..  So much for resolutions.

January of 2019- For once my husband was on board and we both started keto.  It was a very lazy, very dirty version, but we still ate healthier than we did before.  More vegetables, more salads, way less unhealthy carbs and processed foods.  In 4 months, we both lost nearly 50 pounds.  Then "Wine Sunday" started with my family and we lost track of those healthy habits.  It's really hard to be healthy when everyone's hanging out in the backyard drinking wine and eating all the bad foods...

Today- Well now it's a year later and luckily, I am still down 31 pounds and he's still down about 37 pounds.  Not a horrible gain, I've definitely seen worse, but my gosh, when I think of how dedicated we were, I want that back!

So, once again, he's on board (mostly), and we're starting to do more cooking at home, and eating more healthy foods.  I'm just tired of being fat, and not being able to do so much.  I want a change, and I know HOW to do it, it's really just finding the discipline that I need.

I do feel like I'm slowly making progress; I've been on plan for about 11 of the 17 days of this month so far.  But I really want to be like those successful people who don't cheat for a year, and become the healthy version of themselves that they want! I find that if I eat one carby food, it's like I am addicted and eat ALL THE CARBY FOODS!  I know I can do better, I want to do better, and it's up to me.
